Furniture Re-Upholstery in Mullica Hill, NJ

What does a winter photo of a stream in a valley have to do with furniture upholstery for homes and businesses in Mullica Hill?  Jim Conklin grew up in Mullica Hill.  The photo is of a stream behind his boyhood home before the 322 by-pass went in.  He spent many evenings fishing at the Mullica Hill pond and prowling along the Racoon Creek.  And trying out slingshots against the rats at W.A. Jones feed and hardware before it became The Old Mill.  His first job, at 13, was at Visalli's farm, picking strawberries and planting tomatoes.

Fast forward to upholstery.  Whenever we pick up furniture to be re-upholstered, Jim chimes in "I know where that is, its just off Woodland Ave" or something like that.  We visit the area often.  Here are a few completed projects.

Re-Upholstered Chair

The couple wanted something fresh and bold for their monochrome family room.  This chair and ottoman were the favorite seating.  They started their decor makeover with some bright upholstery.

Upholstered Arm Chair

A family chair refinished and re-upholstered into the restrained theme of this study in a restored farmhouse.  Notice the tie-ins with the woodwork and the walls.  The bold pattern creates a focal point.

Sofa Re-Upholstered

Sofa upholstered Mullica Hill

Some fresh fabric and a new plush cushion for this traditional camel back sofa.  The traditional botanical motif of the fabric fits well on the broad surfaces of the sofa.  Ready for many more years of gatherings.

Mullica Hill loveseat re-upholstered in an alligator pattern chenille by Fabricut.  The variable nap of the fabric gives a "crushed" look.  The shimmery gray color is just right for the room.
